Photo Admin Terms of Use

Photo Admin is a Windows desktop application made by Prometheus Labs, Kitchener, Ontario, Canada ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing or buying Photo Admin you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software.
The software
Photo Admin runs entirely on your own computer. It renames, numbers, shrinks, converts and prepares batches of photos for email. There is no account, no upload and no cloud: the app makes no network calls that include your photo data. An occasional check for software updates contains no personal information.
Licence
- Free version. You may use the free version at no charge for batches of up to 10 photos, with no time limit. The free version does not include every feature (for example, combining a batch into one PDF).
- Full version. A one-time purchase unlocks the full version on your computers. The price and what is included are shown on the pricing page and on your receipt. The licence is for your own use; you may not resell, sublicense or redistribute the app.
- Your files. You retain all rights to your photos. We do not claim ownership of anything you process with Photo Admin.
Payment and refunds
Purchases are processed by Stripe. We receive your email address and order details so we can send your licence key and provide support; we do not receive or store your card details. See Stripe's privacy policy.
Photo Admin is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. If the app does not do what you needed, reply to your receipt email within 30 days and we will refund you.
Updates
The app may check for newer versions and install them when you choose. Updates are provided to improve the software; we do not guarantee a particular schedule of releases.

Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002 or any other consumer protection law that applies to you.
Warranties and liability
We work hard to keep Photo Admin reliable, but beyond what these terms promise (and beyond rights that the law does not allow us to limit), the software is provided as it is. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Photo Admin.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when they last changed. Material changes will be posted here; they do not apply retroactively to a purchase you have already made.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.
